It was with great sadness that the entire team at Pharmacy in Focus learnt of the unexpected – and untimely – passing of Wayne Harrison, Head of Membership Proposition at Numark.
Wayne had contributed to the magazine at regular intervals over the years and had always been a great supporter of everything that the magazine communicated on behalf of community pharmacy in Northern Ireland.
We understood from the outset how much of a contribution Wayne made to the profession. Over the years, many pharmacists were full of praise for the first-class service that he provided – a service which he always delivered with total professionalism – and a smile!
His love of – and passion for – community pharmacy were never in any doubt and he was a great ambassador for Numark.
On behalf of everyone involved in community pharmacy throughout Northern Ireland, we would like to take this opportunity to pass on our condolences to Wayne’s wife, Carolyn, his son, Tyler and his entire family circle.
He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him and worked with him throughout the province.
