Bannside Pharmacist Eoghan O’Brien said, “This is a fabulous honour because there is so much work being currently carried out in community pharmacy in Northern Ireland and so to receive an Award for it is the icing on the cake. This is truly a great reflection on the amazing staff I have and the fantastic community in Portglenone as well. “As a team we really enjoyed the awards process, which I feel is as important as the award itself as it made us think about what we do, why we do it, how we do it and how we can do it better. We learned a lot from being involved in that process of self-evaluation and the award itself is a bonus.” Colm Magee, Sales Director with Teva UK stated, “At Teva, we liaise with pharmacists and their teams in their work environment and so it is equally important to meet them at a personal level as well. “This is a tremendous accolade for pharmacy. As we have heard all night, pharmacists and  pharmacy teams in Northern Ireland work very hard all year long and often that goes unrecognised and so tonight it is great to witness them being rewarded.
