93.75% pass Common Registration Assessment

The Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has announced that 93.75% of Northern Ireland candidates who sat the Common Registration Assessment (CRA) on 16 June 2026 successfully passed.

The Society said the result reflects the commitment, resilience and hard work shown by trainee pharmacists throughout their Foundation Training Year.

Passing the CRA confirms candidates have the knowledge, judgement and skills required to practise safely and effectively, and is a key step towards joining the Register of Pharmacists.

PSNI President Dr Geraldine O’Hare said: “I warmly congratulate everyone who has successfully passed the CRA. These results are a credit to your hard work, dedication and professionalism, and you should be very proud of this achievement. I look forward to welcoming successful candidates onto the Register of the Pharmaceutical Society NI.”

Chief Executive Officer Canice Ward also congratulated the successful candidates and thanked educational supervisors, foundation training year leads, university staff, families and friends for supporting trainees throughout their journey.

He added that candidates who were unsuccessful can access information on the registration assessment webpage, while the Society’s charity partner, PASS, is available to provide confidential support and practical advice where needed.
