The annual Sangers Golf Day, traditionally one of the most well attended and enjoyable dates in the pharmacy social calendar, this year proved to be no exception. While tackling the challenging and beautiful Belvoir Park course in Belfast beneath glorious sunshine, some of the regular golfers were met with some tough competition from newcomers; evidence that the reputation of this superbly organised event continues to spread far and wide.

“The course was in excellent condition and the catering and service were of a high standard,” commented Jim Malcolm from Sangers. “Everyone enjoyed the day and our congratulations go to Joe Magee, who won the McMullan Cup as well as the Numark Cup.”

Joining Joe Magee to compete in the Numark Final at Carnoustie on 11 and 12 September later this year will be Gary Jones and Garth Newberry. Congratulations and good luck to Northern Ireland’s three finalists.
